be considered. This position involves providing advanced nursing
care in a cardiac intensive care stepdown unit, focusing on adult
and geriatric patients with cardiac diagnoses, including
cardiothoracic surgical cases. The role requires managing patients
in a progressive stepdown environment with nurse-to-patient ratios
of 1:3-4, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Experience
with various monitoring and sedation techniques is essential.
Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current RN licensure Minimum 2
years of nursing experience; ICU experience preferred
Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required; CCRN preferred Demonstrated
competence in: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Care
for ventilated patients Continuous IV sedation and procedural
sedation administration (preferred) Ability to adapt to float
assignments in ICU, CPU, and PCU units Location: Valdosta, GA

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac
stepdown patients Maintain patient safety and comfort with vigilant
monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced
environment Document care accurately using EPIC software Administer
medications through Omnicell system Participate in shift rotations
and float assignments as needed Schedule/Hours: Day Shifts: Four
12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Six weekend shifts every six
weeks Flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12-hour increments as needed
