HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated RN OR to join our team, providing comprehensive patient care in surgical environments across our extensive network of medical facilities. Our OR RNs play a critical role in managing all aspects of patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring adherence to best practices and HCA Healthcare protocols to deliver high-quality outcomes. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the operating room Prepare and ensure proper sterilization of equipment and operation site pre-surgery Assist surgeons during operations and provide technical assistance as needed Monitor patient’s condition during surgery and report any changes Administer and record medication as prescribed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care Educate patients and their families on postoperative care requirements Proficient in general surgical procedures Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols Effective communication and patient management skills Ability to operate OR equipment safely Strong observational skills to detect complications Capability to perform under pressure in emergency scenarios Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license BLS/ACLS Certification CNOR certification preferred
