Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated and
skilled CT Technologist to join our renowned healthcare team. As a
pivotal part of our diagnostic team, the CT Technologist will be
responsible for utilizing computed tomography (CT) scanners to
capture diagnostic images of patients' internal structures. In this
role, you will work closely with radiologists to deliver accurate
and timely results, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of a
variety of medical conditions. Our facility prides itself on using
state-of-the-art technology and advancing medical practices to
provide exceptional care to our community. Operate CT equipment to
produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, while ensuring
patient safety and comfort. Work collaboratively with radiologists
to understand and execute imaging as directed, ensuring optimal
image quality. Prepare patients for procedures, including
explaining the process and positioning patients to achieve the best
outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records, manage scheduling of
procedures, and uphold all health, safety, and confidentiality
protocols. Participate in the maintenance of CT equipment and
troubleshoot issues as needed. Engage in continuous learning to
stay abreast of industry advancements and new technologies. Strong
technical proficiency in using CT imaging equipment. Excellent
patient management skills to ensure patient care and comfort during
procedures. Ability to interpret physicians’ instructions and
attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Medical

Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possession of
a current state license as a Radiologic Technologist. CT
certification is highly preferred.
