Gifted Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a position in Albany, Georgia. As an integral part of our team, you will leverage your expertise in nursing to provide intensive care and close monitoring of patients with severe and complex illnesses and conditions. The ideal candidate will manage and monitor life-sustaining equipment, assess vital signs, and administer necessary medication. Monitor patient condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient's vital signs and administer treatments accordingly. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts. Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in emergencies. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families. Strong ability to think and act quickly in high-pressure situations Meticulous attention to detail Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in managing complex patient machinery Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia BLS Certification ACLS Certification CCRN Certification preferred
