17 Weeks Start Date: 3/6/2026 About the Position Job Title:
FL-DOH-Duval County-Medical Assistants Location (On-site, Remote,
or Hybrid?): Jacksonville, FL (onsite) Contract Duration: Contract
until 06/30/2026 Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm FL-DOH-Duval
County-Medical Assistants - Provide direct patient care services of
a medical nature in a cllinical setting WORK ENVIRONMENT: Open
workstation and clinical area DRESS CODE: Scrubs, preferably Navy
Blue COMPUTER SOFTWARE: Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft
Office EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have Medical Assistant
Certification CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct patient
care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting Knowledge
of basic medical terminology Phlebotomy skills as well as
administering IM and Subcutaneous injections Ability to administer
and read accurate blood pressure testing Interviewing patients and
obtain a complete medical history Ability to keep accurate records
Distribute prescribed medications Effective communication
skills
