Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital invites applications for the
position of RN in Geriatric Primary Care at our dedicated Crown
Pointe facility. Positioned within a leading network, our hospital
provides exceptional patient care through innovative practices and

role involves managing and delivering primary care services
tailored to the elderly, ensuring the highest quality of care,
promoting a holistic approach, and addressing specific geriatric
health issues effectively. Nurses in this role will be pivotal in
creating positive patient outcomes and fostering an atmosphere of
care and respect for our aging population. Assess, plan, implement,
and evaluate nursing care for geriatric patients. Coordinate with
healthcare professionals to formulate personalized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and
disease management. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
and standards. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Administer medications and perform routine checks on patients’
vital signs. Expertise in geriatric care and patient handling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in
clinical skills such as medication administration Capability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active RN
license Certified Gerontological Nurse by the American Nursing
Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred
