Physical Therapist Location: Gainesville, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,406 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist Profession: Allied Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 months Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid Physical Therapy License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: BLS Description: This position involves working in a rehabilitation unit. The unit has 30 beds and a diverse staff consisting of PT, OT, SLP, and Tech personnel. Day shifts are the primary schedule with a patient ratio of 7:1. Typical equipment includes balance and gait systems along with general rehabilitation gym equipment. Documentation is completed using Meditech (Expanse). Weekend rotation for call requirements is expected. Patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, family education, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional training are standard procedures performed in this role. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to work independently. Dress code includes wearing light gray scrubs.
