Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites qualified Registered Nurses to apply for
the RN Labor and Delivery PRN position, where you will have the
unique opportunity to support and provide exceptional care in our
maternity units. As a PRN nurse, you will work on an as-needed
basis, offering flexibility while playing a crucial role in the
lives of families during one of their most memorable times. You
will work collaboratively within a team to maintain a high standard
of care and follow all safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of
both infant and mother. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care
for laboring patients, providing comfort and safety throughout the
birthing process. Monitor fetal health during labor and delivery,
recognizing and addressing complications effectively. Provide
postpartum care to assess the condition of the mother and infant.
Educate and support families on newborn care and recovery from
childbirth. Maintain detailed records and communicate effectively
with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Strong
clinical skills in labor and delivery Proficient in fetal
monitoring Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability
to work effectively in high-stress situations Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) certification preferred Certification in Inpatient Obstetric
Nursing (RNC-OB) highly regarded
