Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Operating Room (OR) Travel Position – Job Summary Location Requirement - Must live within 75 miles of hospital (based on Driver’s License address) - Driver’s License required at submission ? Shift & Facility Details - 19 OR Suites - 55–60 cases/day (~1000/month) - Full-service facility (except major peds & transplants) - Functions similar to a Level 2 Trauma Center - No C-sections in main OR Requirements - Experience: 2–3 years minimum - Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required) - EMR: Meditech - CST required for OR Techs - RN Scrubbing: Preferred but not required Case Types - General, Ortho, Neuro, Cardio/Thoracic, Robotics - Some trauma (ortho/neuro) - Must have broad skill competency across services Call & Weekend Requirements RN: - Call: Every 7th weekend (avg) - No weekday call (except specialty teams) - Specialty call teams: - Ortho/Neuro - Cardio/Thoracic - Call response time: 30 minutes CST: - No scheduled weekends Weekends (RN): - Approx. 1 weekend per quarter Facility Support - Charge Nurse leads (no active nurse manager) - RT & Pharmacy available 24/7 - Vents recovered in ICU - Surgeons on call 24/7 Orientation & Work Expectations - 1-week unit-specific orientation - No floating required - Scrubs provided About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
