What You ll Do
- Provide advanced clinical care for neonates in a
Level-III NICU environment
- Work collaboratively with neonatologists and an
interdisciplinary team to deliver family-centered,
high-quality care
- Manage and support care for high-risk pregnancies and premature
or critically ill infants
- Participate in NICU coverage across 8-hour and 24-hour
shifts as scheduled
- Coordinate with other pediatric specialists (as needed) such as
cardiology, endocrinology, radiology, neurology, and
orthopedics
- Support continuity of care within a long-standing practice
where NNPs and physicians work as a team
What You Need
Required
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Board
Certification (no FNP/PNP/other NP certifications
accepted)
- 2+ years of current experience as an NNP
- Ability to work 8-hour and 24-hour shifts
Preferred
- Experience in a high-acuity Level-III NICU
setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multidisciplinary
pediatric environment
About the Assignment
This permanent Neonatology Nurse Practitioner opportunity is based
at a leading Level-III NICU facility in Tallahassee,
Florida, supporting high-risk moms and premature or
critically ill babies. The unit provides comprehensive NICU
services with a multi-specialty team and additional supporting
resources, including a dedicated PICC team and child life
support.
