Job Description Job Description Position Overview Pearl Academy LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Closing Staff Member to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the center is properly supervised, cleaned, sanitized, and secured at the end of each day. The ideal candidate is punctual, flexible, professional, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe environment for children and staff. Responsibilities Supervise children during late afternoon/closing hours Assist with classroom transitions and end-of-day routines Clean and sanitize classrooms daily (tables, chairs, toys, learning materials, etc.) Clean and sanitize restrooms daily (toilets, sinks, floors, and surfaces) Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash from classrooms and common areas Restock paper towels, soap, and other supplies Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards Assist with securing the building at closing (lights off, doors locked, etc.) Support lead teachers as needed Qualifications Previous childcare experience preferred Must be reliable and punctual Ability to work until closing time (up to 6:00 PM or later if needed) Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Must pass background screening and meet DCF requirements Team player with a positive attitude What We Offer Supportive team environment Professional workplace Opportunity for growth Company Description About Pearl Academy LLC Pearl Academy LLC is a 5-Star childcare facility serving children ages 21?2 to 5 years old.
